The staff was very welcoming and helpful. They explained everything about the hotel, breakfast, storing luggage, and even gave recommendations on nearby places to eat and join canal boat tours. We were invited to stop by the hotel at any point during our stay to use the restroom, which was helpful and welcome as public bathrooms can be difficult to find. The rooms and the hotel itself were beautiful and comfortable, and the location is right on the canal and convenient to a lot of attractions - about a 15-20 min walk from train station, Rijksmuseum, and Anne Frank house. The only thing I would note for consideration is that it's an old building with no lift, so if you are not staying on the ground floor you will need to be comfortable with climbing the stairs - my attic room was on the 4th floor for reference.

Location was perfect. Tram and Metro stop very close by on Ronkin. Tram - 1 stop to Dam Square, 2 stops to Central Station. Main attractions within walking distance e.g. Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh museum & Vondelpark.and more. Flower market around the corner. Beaut cafès and restaurant in the vicinity. Breakfast certainly adequate - eggs, bread, pastries, cereals, milk, yoghurt, juices, coffee & tea. 3 females were given a beaut room overlooking the canal - gorgeous. Staff were lovely and helpful, Lisa especially. Loved having the lounge area/gift shop. Great to be able to grab a light snack from reception when returning late in the evening.

The room was aesthetically pleasing and a great size. It was well equipped with an electric kettle and a smart TV. The location is close to public transportation. It is only about 14 minutes from the Van Gogh Museum via tram, 18 mins from the Anne Frank house via tram, and 12 mins from the Heineken Experience via tram. The breakfast has a nice spread. We parked in a nearby parking garage for 75 euro for 24 hours. Also, we were celebrating my mom's birthday and they gave us a complimentary mini bottle of Prosecco upon check-in which was a lovely gesture. We really enjoyed our stay here.

We stayed in the loft family room on the 3rd floor. The view of the canal from our big window was amazing. The room was cleaned everyday and the beds were comfortable. The staff who checked us in and out was very helpful. We also loved the breakfast (freshly baked bread and croissants, egg, yogurt, hams and cheeses etc). We didnt mind that they served the same spread everyday since we were only there for.2 nights. The location was also very accessible to everything, 18min walk to the Centraal Station, close to the metro and.tram stops. You can also store your luggage with them.

I came to Amsterdam for Taylor Swift and had an amazing experience here. The location of this hotel can’t be beat - close to everything you want to do and steps away from transit, but a bit removed from the super loud hustle and bustle. Beautiful views too! The staff were amazing and so helpful. I also loved that the front door was locked at night and you can only access with the night porter letting you in, as a solo traveller I felt super safe. The breakfast was so good!
